President Donald Trump is set to reinstate much of the United States’ trade embargo with Cuba on Friday, once again restricting tourist travel to the Caribbean island and banning companies from doing business with any entity tied to the Cuban government, Politico reported.

“I will seek to promote a stable, prosperous and free country for the Cuban people,” a draft of Trump’s new Cuba policy reads, according to Politico. “To that end, we must ensure that U.S. funds are not channeled to a regime that has failed to meet the most basic requirements of a free and just society.”

In 2014, President Barack Obama eased restrictions on tourist travel to the country, which had been isolated for decades thanks to the embargo. His administration allowed tourists to spend money in the country as part of educational trips. Yet the administration also was lax about enforcing those rules, according to Politico.

The Trump administration, however, will demand that trips “result in a meaningful interaction between the traveler” and Cubans, and will force travelers to keep records of their travels for five years, in case of an audit by the Treasury Department, Politico reported.

Trump plans to announce the changes Friday at a speech in Miami, a move that will make good on a campaign promise he made in the 2016 presidential election.

The Trump administration says Obama’s policies let the Castro family regime profit, while not helping the Cuban people in the country.

“The oppressors of the Cuban people are the Cuban government who have increased repression on the island against dissidents and Ladies in White since re-establishing diplomatic relations,” the White House said in a statement to Politico. “Prior to that, it was not clear to some if the Obama policy toward Cuba would work; today it is clear that the Obama policy toward Cuba does not.”

Obama pardons these 78 people, shortens 153 prisoners’ sentences. Oscar Lopez is not those named.

President Barack Obama pardoned 78 people and shortened the sentence of 153 others convicted of federal crimes. Oscar Lopez was not one of those on the list Monday.  In the past decades Many have written president Obama and others have protested for his release. Of the many protesters in the last twenty years one being Nelson Mandela yet it has been to no avail. Oscar Lopez has been in prison for 35 years while protests go on in Puerto Rico and on the mainland calling for his release due to his time being excessive for his crime. Most will agree that Mr.Lopez has been in federal prison mostly for his political ideologies and beliefs and still has 20 years left on his sentence. President Obama has been ducking the topic “Oscar Lopez” and now we know why. He never even considered freeing The Puerto Rican Nationalist and many see it that way.

It’s the most number of individual clemencies in a single day by any president. Obama has now pardoned a total of 148 people during his presidency and has shortened the sentences of 1,176 people, including 395 serving life…

UPDATE: OSCAR LOPEZ RIVER was released from prison via pardon from Barack Obama. His transfer to a halfway house was not released to the public until the day of his return to the Island. His release date is scheduled for May 2017 . His home coming arrival February 9, 2017 was to be met by crowds awaiting him at the airport. However, corrections Department hurried him through a back exit prohibiting any visual contact with the crowds awaiting him. Finally, Oscar Lopez is back in Borinquen.

TRUMPS WORLD,THE WHITE CARD, & WONDER WORK OF WORDS

This past November 2016 Donald Trump won the presidency of the United States. Many soon after took to the streets and on social media in the hopes of undoing the unimaginable, unseating the president elect before his inauguration on January 20, 2017.  Many are in ahh that such a thing could happen after his lewd comments and shred behavior before, during, and after the election campaign.

Let’s take a look at what catapulted Mr.Trump into office. First, there is no doubt that Mr.Trump lives, eats, and sleeps sales. Mr Trump could sell ice cubes in antarctica. He has proven time and time again since the 80’s by slick positive wonder works of words to bankers, businesses, Mom and Pop suppliers to finance his business ventures in the past making himself millions while bankrupting and disappearing behind lawyer’s with a smile.

Let’s take a look at middle class white America. This was his leverage which he aggressively went after. He banked on this vote which no one saw coming or didn’t even know it existed until now “The White Card”.  The black card has been used successfully since a before the OJ Simpy trial. His plea to poor and middle class white Americans was plain and simple. Trump made it clear to them: no one cares about you, no one respects you, your hurting, your losing your jobs, your home’s, and I’m am the one who is going to bring you back from your nightmares and make America Great Again. That’s what brought out white Americans out in droves to vote for Trump. Meanwhile, democrats for Hillary knew they had it in the bag and their poll numbers were up and looking great  at the start of the day.  By late afternoon with a large number of democrats not showing up at the polls the Trump campaign gained momentum as they had hoped to. At about 6pm Trump supporters came out in droves which was what his team bet on and they were absolutely right.

Lastly, the Gill Stien vote. I saw this one coming way before November 8, 2016 Gill Stein wouldn’t get the votes needed to pull a victory. However, a vote for Stein was a vote for Trump. You see for every vote given to the Stein campaign it would take away from Hillary, cutting her numbers and giving trump the leverage and votes needed.  At the end the Trump campaign banked on the Gill Stein’s numbers which were something in the realm of 2 .5 million. The exact votes Hillary needed to win the election. So if Gill Stein  like Bernie Sanders wouldn’t have been on the ballot on November 8th today’s president elect would have been Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I believe it was Joe Kennedy said it first “Their are no mistakes in politics”. Trump and the republican party saw the opportunity in democrats taking for granted poll numbers, turbulence in the democratic party, exorbitant amounts of wasted money in the middle east, and the Made In everywhere else except the U.S. came out victorious. Now, the kicker : Gill Stien and Hillary Rodham Clinton are now trying to raise money for a recount. Don’t embarrass yourselves by acting as if you are now in an alliance. Your time for alliance is over. If both of you thought strategically and with the best interest of the American people had come to an agreement today’s president elect would have been different.  However, that is not the case. Whether I am a Trump supporter still remains to be seen as for I only voted on the state referendums on November 8,2016 . I really didn’t see this election as a whose the best for the job more so as who is less likely to screw over the American people. I would have been voting for the lesser of the two evils and not the best candidate for presidency of the United States.

Congratulations president elect Donald Trump. I hope you can bring about a positive change and REALLY MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
