MDMA, a schedule1 Drug instead of being prescribed for Depression & PTSD

This the century of the synthetic drug begins but doesn’t end here the shadow of the late Alexander shulkin it was in this lab in the 1960s that Alexander Sasha shulkin a renegade chemist reimagined the study of drugs and by extension human consciousness is where Sasha Shogun himself was doing his experimentation and then trying the compounds on himself. When he was finished that’s right is absolutely unknown you do not know what the effects are going to be and very important you do not know what do you start at he’s recognized as the spiritual father of psychedelics creating over 200 substances from scratch but he also however inadvertently set off the billion dollars to control the synthetics market the question that keeps coming to mind for me is have we limited our access to potentially break through therapies by making all of these drugs completely illegal Sasha had been working at Dow chemical and they’ve been very successful for them it made them quite a bit of money with developing one of the first biodegradable insecticides they were sufficiently impressed with the success that they said well what would you like to work on now and at that time the psychedelics were thought to be exciting new tools recycler therapy that’s right when he took an experimental drug abandoned by a German pharmaceutical company and shared it with the world that substance is MDMA ecstasy the most popular synthetic drug of all time my curiosity was if such a simple molecule can allow me this type of of openness you’re so cold psychedelic experience what modifications that molecule will modify improved change redirect that type of introspection and hence that became my the research search one of the more common ways to make MDMA is to start with this essential oil this is saffron now smell that and see if you can tell me what it smells like close your sounds easy but it’s not there’s some complicated chemistry to get to the 81 mg 53 Sasha’s widow and was really his co-conspirator and together they tested a lot of substances on themselves including MDMA inside what you also get is not just the ability to see where you are in your life and what’s your problems are and what your mistakes have been but the realization comes without self-hate or or anger at yourself in some way which we don’t understand it it allows you to have a true self-acceptance and I love for yourself and this is why MDMA is so extraordinary valuable for PTSD. MDMA is a mixture of stimulant and hallucinogens it will make people feel this intense love and a huge part of that relates to the serotonin system serotonin impacts on our mood so it gives these positive effects but before it’s therapeutic uses could be explored MDMA got derailed it made its way to the underground in the late 70s and early 80s where it was packaged and brought to market is extra a strong popularity the feds made it illegal in 1985 effectively killing its chance to be studied for therapeutic purposes. The war on drug was the really the war on pharmaceutical research. MDMA is listed No.1 of five fully illegal drugs which the government deems it has no therapeutic use. The bottom line is a miscarriage of justice by the government for individuals suffering from mental health.

I have personally found that MDMA is useful in the treatment of depression and post-traumatic stress syndrome patients. If I know this being a medical social worker why isn’t that the government, surgeon general, pharma are not hopping on this right away instead of giving these medications that turn you into zombies give you more depression and inevitably you will gain weight and feel worse. We have to expand our minds and try things that are medicinal. MDMA starts as medicinal. It’s a real shame that this country’s War on Drugs, which is failing horribly is holding back resources by propaganda All the while the country is stacking dollars for irrelevant political agendas. Sucks!
